Peterson's PSAT Success 2005
Peterson’s PSAT Success has been rewritten to reflect the changes to the PSAT, which will be administered for the first time in October 2004. PSAT Success provides complete test preparation for the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) exam taken by middle and high school students (most often tenth and eleventh graders). The National Merit Scholarship Corporation, a co-sponsor of the PSAT, recognizes students who achieve high scores. PSAT scores give students a chance to qualify for the NMSC’s scholarship programs. Colleges also use PSAT scores to begin recruiting potential students. In the fall of 2004, the PSAT will change. The test will be aligned more closely to high school curricula and college skills. Peterson’s PSAT Success will serve as a targeted complement to Peterson’s New SAT Success, and will allow us to introduce our comprehensive test-preparation offerings to a younger group of students.
